The Bvlgari came from an ancient family of Greek silversmiths who began in a small village of Epirus where Sotirio (founder of the family) made precious objects in silver. He immigrated to Italy and opened his first shop in Rome in 1884.

Bvlgari began its first collection of silk scarves in 1997 and launched their first collection of leather bags and eyewear in 1998, table and giftware in 1999.


Paolo Bvlgari and Nicole Bvlgari working together wit their nephew Francesco Trapani all managing the company’s development with the strive to increase and serve an international market and stay as prestigious jewelers.
