Invicta

  • Invicta
In 1837, Invicta created its first watches giving the thinking that Swiss time pieces could be offered at an affordable price. Even though it was once a tiny company it has expanded and obsessed by collectors but feared by the rest of the industry.

Invicta stands for “invincible” in Latin and was founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland by Raphael Picard, who had the finest Swiss timepieces that could be offered at affordable prices. Invicta has been creating manual and automatic-winding pieces of excellent designs and structure. However, like the many Swiss brands, they all disappeared when the quartz were introduced in the early 70’s.
